The Grapevine Lakeside

Partnering with Hello! Texas to provide personalization services for their client was an absolute joy. Recently, we had the pleasure of serving a national client’s awards dinner in Grapevine, set against the stunning backdrop of the lake. Guests enjoyed a spectacular fireworks show from the expansive deck, making the evening truly memorable.
Our team, including June from I Do Illustration and an assistant, worked seamlessly together, ensuring the station ran efficiently and allowed for meaningful interactions with guests. The hosts generously allowed guests to receive multiple personalized items, and many returned for more to take home to their family or staff. We personalized bottle openers, with collegiate loyalty shining through in several pieces!
One Night In Paradiso

I had a blast with an influencer event for It Cosmetics in the charming Bishop Arts District at Paradiso. This beautiful setting, filled with numerous photo opportunities, made the event even more special. Guests were delighted to receive hand-engraved makeup brushes or hair clips, adding a personal touch to their experience.
The personalization process at influencer events is always a hit. Guests start to recognize us from event to event and love adding new personalized items to their collection. This event highlighted the unique perk of having live personalization, which guests loved, recorded, and shared on social media.
To Cure a Rose Gala Fundraiser

At the recent fundraising gala, Jenny Blaschke orchestrated a talented team of calligraphers to hand-engrave harmonicas, creating personalized keepsakes for 250 attendees. This event, held at the picturesque Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, was a beautiful blend of artistry and philanthropy, supporting the incredible mission of the To Cure a Rose Organization, which is dedicated to bringing genetic treatments to children with rare diseases.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jenny Blaschke for her leadership, Amanda Reid Designs and Ember Sherman for their creative collaboration and unwavering support, and the Omni Barton Creek for providing such a stunning venue. Together, we made a meaningful impact for a truly worthy cause.
The Ball at SouthFork Ranch

I had the distinct honor of crafting unique ornaments for American Cancer Society donors in-studio before heading to the iconic Southfork Ranch for the Cattle Baron’s Ball. The evening was a splendid affair, where I was invited to personalize exquisite Partlow Official boots (with whom I’ve worked with before on a recent past event you can find in the recaps below). Guests delighted in trying on their favorites alongside Kasey, Partlow’s co-owner, as I adorned the boots with gold and silver foil. The crowd, dressed in their finest western attire, added to the evening’s charm.
The night culminated in a special performance by the incredible Carrie Underwood, all in honor of the Cancer Society. It was truly an amazing and one-of-a-kind night, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause… You can see the special ornaments in the gallery below!
Open House at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden invited June and me to their “Down The Aisle” Showcase for event vendors. The best from across DFW and Texas joined for a night to share their business offerings with guests who visited. We provided custom ornaments, engraving guests’ initial right onto the glass and placing in a beautiful pouch for them to take home. We met so many great people and appreciate the Arboretum for including us in their plans among other Texas favorites.
Visit Whiskies of the World

I returned to Whiskies of the World for their 2024 event and was honored to be invited by A21, who planned and organized this year’s event. I was joined by June of I Do Illustration at The Thompson Hotel in downtown Dallas. All of the guests were so amazing and kept us quite busy in the VIP Lounge, a special area for those seeking a more extensive experience in whiskey discovery. Many guests were surprised we were able to offer that level of personalization, making them a special keepsake with the Whiskies of the World branding. Many said that even though they received a glass at last year’s event, they were excited to get another one this year… we were so busy these are the only photos I got!
A Summer Party at The Rustic

Having collaborated with Alexa Larberg on numerous occasions, I can attest to her exceptional talent in crafting unforgettable events. For the 20th Anniversary celebration at The Rustic, she enlisted Chapman Calligraphy to provide personalized engraving and pyrography services for the guests. Despite the sweltering evening, our team diligently burned names and initials onto leather keychains. Additionally, June from I Do Illustration and I pre-engraved the company’s logo onto stainless steel bottle openers, adding individual names on-site. Guests delighted in selecting one or both items as cherished mementos, showcasing how personalization can elevate any event.
Back to Bowie: Maverick Golf and Ranch

Hosted by Discovery Land Company, a renowned developer and operator of private residential communities and resorts, this event showcased their commitment to the families living in neighborhoods such as Maverick Golf and Ranch Club. Located west of Ft. Worth, their future neighbors gathered to meet each other.
Set in the exquisite Billet Room at the Bowie House in Ft. Worth, guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while mingling with new friends. I had the pleasure of engraving the stunning Malibu Apothecary Candles for each guest. The scent was divine, and the candles engraved effortlessly. As always, guests were mesmerized by the ability to personalize the personalization happening right before their eyes.
A Luxury Experience in Downtown Dallas

I recently had the pleasure of providing personalization services for two enchanting evenings at a luxury hotel in downtown Dallas during a corporate conference. One evening, June and I meticulously burned wooden bottle openers, captivating guests with the artistry of the process. The following evening, we were on the lawn, surrounded by breathtaking views of iconic Dallas buildings. Guests enjoyed a delightful BBQ meal and engaging activities, while I swiftly engraved 150 shot glasses in under three hours, adding a personal touch that everyone adored.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to Hello! for inviting me to create this luxurious experience for their client. The team was exceptional to work with, and their impeccable execution and design truly elevated the event.
Foiling and Debossing at The Star in Frisco

In January, I had the pleasure of partnering with Sherri of Mon Sherri Ink to provide foiling and debossing services for a Capitol One event at the stunning Star in Frisco. We personalized Leatherology wallets and keychains for the executive attendees, adding a touch of elegance to their experience.
The event was truly incredible, from the exquisite decorations to the delectable food. A unique highlight was the electronic violin player who strolled throughout the venue, captivating guests with their enchanting performance. Everyone loved the experience!
Birdville ISD Conference for Women

Last month I had the honor of personalizing bracelets and keychains for all Birdville ISD Women’s Conference attendees. Guests could choose a word that was meaningful or significant to them, then it was heat foiled in gold onto either a leather keychain or bracelet. This special item will serve as a reminder of the intent each attendee set for their upcoming school year. June, of I Do Illustration, and I foiled over 250 bracelets and keychains on site (and had a blast!).

I was incredibly honored to be invited to Neiman’s NorthPark, where customers were in for a delightful surprise! Partnering with Partlow Boots to offer customized gold foiling was an absolute thrill. Meeting brand co-founder Kasey Lemkin and witnessing the beginning of Partlow’s brand journey was truly special. Shoppers were excited to learn what makes Partlow boots unique and had the chance to personalize their boots with their chosen content and style, whether on the heel, tab, or inside. This is the magic of on-site calligraphy customizations—endless choices to create exactly what they desire. No machine can replicate that!

On Saturday, the weekend of Father’s Day. Macy’s delighted customers with complimentary calligraphy engraving on their men’s fragrance purchases. This engaging activation significantly boosted the brand’s appeal, prompting clients to make their purchases on the spot to take advantage of this unique offering. Shoppers could choose any brand of fragrance and have it personalized with a name or phrase of their choice, adding a special touch to their purchase and enhancing their overall shopping experience and any gifts for dad.

What an amazing way to express gratitude to your customers! Sysco Foods invited me to their holiday party at Sloane & Williams Winery in Grapevine, where I had the pleasure of creating bespoke items for their cherished clients. The event showcased my pyrography skills, as I elegantly gold-foiled leather chef’s knife rolls and meticulously wood-burned cutting and cheese boards.
Guests were delighted to see their business names materialize in the wood, marveling at how swiftly these personalized treasures were crafted for them to take home. They were captivated by the sight of the hot tool gracefully etching elegant calligraphy across the surface.
The Strouderosa Senior BBQ

We had such a fun time celebrating the graduating seniors at Strouderosa BBQ. One of the many benefits of having a live artist at a smaller event is that a variety of personalization options can be offered to the intimate group.
I offered engraving on tumblers and woodburning on hats and boots. The girls were encouraged to bring hats, boots, and Stanley tumblers but Event Planner Alexa Larberg Party Co. also brought leather coin purses the girls could have their names gold foiled onto. You should have seen how excited the girls all were to see their monograms come to life on a special item.

Kayali Fragrance Launch Party

At the dazzling launch of Kayali Fragrances’ latest sensation, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, the air was sweet with anticipation. Chapman Calligraphy and I Do Illustration added a touch of artistry to the vibrant Sweet Tooth Hotel setting, where guests indulged in a unique scent lab experience.
The highlight? A meet-and-greet with the visionary Mona Kattan, and a special takeaway—a bottle of the new fragrance, custom-engraved on the spot. Together, June and I brought a personal touch to over 90 bottles, creating lasting memories for the influencers in attendance.
Talk Derby to me party

I had the pleasure of attending an exquisite event, “Talk Derby to Me,” a collaboration between Diageo and Crown Royal, alongside the renowned “Corks in Cowtown.” The venue for this splendid gathering was none other than the Rusty Nickel Ice House located in the heart of Ft. Worth. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the buzz of conversation as guests mingled, savoring the delectable array of foods and the masterfully crafted cocktails that were on offer.
As the evening unfolded, the air was filled with a sense of luxury and exclusivity, thanks in part to the fabulous party favors that were distributed. A special touch was the presence of @mdinh_art, who captivated everyone with live illustrations, adding a personal and artistic flair to the event. In a delightful partnership, June and I came together to provide guests with custom engraved mint julep cups—a nod to the event’s Derby theme. The intricate engravings included the iconic Crown Royal logo by the talented June, while I added a personal flourish with beautifully engraved initials. It was an event that truly celebrated the spirit of the Derby, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended.
Good for country party

I recently received an invitation to add a personal touch to exclusive merchandise for UBank’s inaugural “Good For Country” Weekend. The festivities commenced with a day brimming with entertainment at Eagle’s Bluff Country Club, dedicated to esteemed partners, collaborators, and friends. Attendees reveled in an elegant garden soiree, savoring exquisite cuisine, engaging in golf, and sampling fine wines, all amidst the splendid weather gracing the club’s patio and lawn.
My role for the day? To infuse a personal flair into an array of items for our guests. They delighted in selecting from bespoke hats adorned with their name or initials in shimmering gold foil, tumblers etched with handcrafted personalization, or journals embellished with golden accents. Come Saturday, the bank rolled out the red carpet for a concert featuring Dylan Scott and the Oak Ridge Boys, turning melodies into support for the East Texas Food Bank.
Bowie House Designer Showcase

BOKA Powell’s Design Studio 8080 marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of the Bowie Hotel in Ft. Worth. The event was a splendid affair, highlighting the studio’s sophisticated and stylish design of the city’s latest upscale hotel. Attendees were invited to explore the hotel’s amenities through an exclusive tour, adding a touch of celebration to the evening.
The highlight of the night was the personalization of sumptuous leather journals, courtesy of Carroll Leather. These journals, known for their soft, high-quality leather, were transformed into unique keepsakes with the addition of gold or silver foil personalization I was on hand to provide. What a hit!
