At Chapman Calligraphy, we pride ourselves on blending artistry with flawless event execution. Recently, we had the honor of working with Hello! Texas to provide personalized gifting for a corporate client. The request? Live engraving on 350 rocks glasses, providing a custom keepsake that would be both memorable and elegant.
Managing a project of this scale requires more than artistic skill, it takes strategy, planning, and teamwork. To deliver an exceptional experience, I assembled a team of nine, including three artists and six assistants. Every role was thoughtfully designed so that no detail was overlooked:
- Artists focused on the heart of the experience creating beautiful custom engravings while connecting directly with guests.
- Assistants kept everything running smoothly by managing request slips, shuttling items to and from the artists, carefully packaging each finished glass, and assisting at the pickup station to ensure guests easily found their personalized piece.

This system allowed the event to flow effortlessly. Guests enjoyed watching their glasses being transformed into one-of-a-kind treasures, and the assistants ensured each keepsake was elegantly packaged and easy to transport.
One of the reasons this activation was such a success is because Chapman Calligraphy offered a complete turnkey station. From the artistry and staffing to the glassware and packaging, every element was provided and managed by our team. All the client had to do was decide they wanted this activation and we handled the rest.
From station layout to signage and request organization, every detail was intentionally designed to create efficiency while maintaining a luxury feel. The result? Delighted guests, many of whom loved their glass so much they wanted another!
